Minimalism My Way
Any true minimalist would likely laugh at me claiming to be a part of their elite club. I’m no minimalist but I have adopted minimalism characteristics.
I’ve decided to be very intentional with the way I spend my money. This includes clothing and home decor. If I don’t absolutely love it then it doesn’t serve a purpose in my space or in my life. Take a look and let me know what you think.
The Goodwill is a great place to find gently used home decor! I found this beautiful Tea Cup and Saucer set at my local Goodwill and fell in love. Total cost was $1.50!
I like to use functional items as decor.
I have my Head Wraps and a small jewelry box on display in the bedroom.
I take a basket to the Farmer’s Market every week and when they aren’t in use they make beautiful accent pieces in the kitchen.
Plants make great living accent pieces! They also purify the air so they are great if you or anyone in your home has allergies. I have 13 plants in my space right now, including a mint plant that I use for my infused waters and smoothies.
Instead of a traditional night table I chose this simple side table from Target while it was on clearance. I love the details in the wood grain.
