Be More Mindful in 20 Minutes or Less
How can we become more mindful? Mindfulness is a part of Wellness it can help relive stress and anxiety. We can practice mindfulness daily by being more aware more present in the moments that make up our day. It doesn’t take transcendental meditation (though it doesn’t hurt) 🤗 for us to practice mindfulness.
Notice how your body feels: Whenever you’re feeling tense take a moment to relax mindfully. Gently stretch each part of your body. This can even be done at your desk, or simply head to the restroom for a quick stretch break. Pay attention to your breathing maybe even counting your breaths. Doing this gives your mind something to focus on other than the long to do list waiting for you.
Aromatherapy: Essential oils are a great way to reduce stress! My favorite way to enjoy essential oils include adding a few drops to my diffuser.

Create a morning routine: For most of us our morning sets the tone for our day. Wake up a bit early and take some time for yourself in the mornings. During this time you can set your intentions for the day, speak your affirmations over yourself, pray, meditate, or simply be present in the moment and enjoy some quiet time to yourself.
Get out and enjoy nature: Take a stroll and enjoy nature! This could be a walk in your neighborhood or a local park. Take in the sights and sounds of the outdoors and get some exercise in at the same time. Find a quiet spot and meditate in nature! Head out to your favorite restaurant and instead of sitting inside enjoy your meal in the outside dining area! Just sitting among the live plants, breathing the fresh air, and listen to the sounds of nature is absolutely refreshing. Let me tell you there are few things more calming and enjoyable. This is a great way to really connect with the earth and ground yourself in the beauty of it all.
