Ionic Body Brush
Dry Brushing with Prana Brush
This post is sponsored by Prana Brush.
Peace everyone! So have you heard of dry brushing? Well it’s basically exactly what it sounds like. Dry brushing the skin in a specific pattern before showering. Dry brushing has many natural health benefits and you know I’m big on holistic living right! I am excited to partner with Prana Brush to share their Ionic Body Brush with you. The health benefits of dry brushing increase through the use of an ionic body brush, which has its origin in ancient Ayurvedic practices. Prana Brush Ionic body brushes are made with extra-fine ion-charged copper bristles, which naturally create negative ions that protect your body from free radicals and have numerous other health benefits. In addition, the molecular composition of these unique bristles encourages the direct and immediate absorption of negative ions into your skin, which increases the benefits of dry brushing, including the speed of detoxification.
Benefits
- Natural detoxification, reduce toxins with lymphatic stimulation.
- Improved circulation
- Exfoliation | Remove dead skin cells
- Reduce appearance of and prevents cellulite
- Increased energy (with improved circulation)
How Do You Use It?
Brush strokes should be light and move towards your heart. Seven to fourteen strokes in each section starting at your feet brushing up towards the legs, moving up to the hands, then the neck starting from the earlobe working down the jawline to the chin area. Making sure you repeat on both sides. Moving on to the back of the neck brushing to the collarbone. On the the chest area, again using light strokes moving from the collarbone towards the heart. Direct your attention now to your belly and begin using light strokes from the belly up towards your heart. Once you’re done there proceed to your underarm area with raised arms brush down towards your heart and repeat on the other side. From your hips brush up towards your armpits and for your backside/tailbone brush up towards your head. If you have someone to help those areas of your back you can’t reach that would be awesome!
